About The Bad Look

The foundations of The Bad Look were laid in Autumn 2001 when a group based on the guitar work of Rik Irving and the smooth bass grooves of Andy Jackson was first discussed.

Other commitments prevented the much anticipated group from developing and both Rik and Andy did there own thing for a while.

Notably Rik was a founding member of the well loved and now established Third Step after being approached by the Steps lead singer Keith Howard when he was planning the band.

Rik left the Third Step after nearly 3 years as their lead guitarist and got back in touch with Andy.

This is when the real roots of the Bad Look were laid.

A singer and front man was found in the shape of Mr Dave Bebbington from Lancaster who was known for his trousers being as loud as his singing.

Drummers came and went and after much searching for the right one, along came the bodacious John Kirby who completed the line-up.

With a reportoir that covers everything from Thin Lizzy thru The Vapors and up to current day the Bad Look offer a wide variety of music with their roots firmly planted in the soil of Classic Rock.

Come and see us. We guarantee you a rocktastic night out.
